Women Complain About U by Kotex Sleek Tampons Regular AbsorbencyMore women have stepped forward to lodge complaints about the U by Kotex Sleek Tampons Regular Absorbency issues. These U by Kotex Sleek Tampons Regular Absorbency products were recalled after some reports were received that the tampons were unraveling and falling apart during removal.

Women who filed complaints by contacting the company or airing their grievances online say that they would not have purchased the tampons if they knew the quality issues. Women say that they had no idea the tampons would break apart upon removal when the tampons were purchased.

Some women had the experience of the U by Kotex Sleek Tampons Regular Absorbency product unraveling inside their body, making it nearly impossible to remove it. Although not every product in the U by Kotex tampon line has been subject to the recall, women who purchased this particular variety could find themselves experiencing problems.

According to NPR, the personal care company issued a statement in relationship to these complaints over the U by Kotex Sleek Tampons Regular Absorbency items, stating that anyone who might still have tampon pieces left inside their body should get medical attention immediately.

Other reports and problematic side effects have been linked to the U by Kotex Sleek Tampons Regular Absorbency product, particularly vaginal irritation, infections and localized vaginal injury.

The problematic tampons under this brand name were made within the last two years between October 2016 and October 2018. They were sold in a variety of different sized packages including counts of 18, 34, and 3.

Furthermore, the U by Kotex Sleek Tampons Regular Absorbency products have also been found in multi-packs of various types of tampons. A total of over 200 lots are affected by the recall, but it is not yet clear how many of those individual packages might have been sold.

The Kimberly-Clark recall website has a comprehensive listing of which of the products have been recalled. Some women, however, have reported injuries associated with part of the tampon not being able to be removed from the woman’s body and having to get medical attention because of it.

The impacted recall lots were sold throughout Canada and the United States but does not affect their Super Absorbency or Super Plus Absorbency tampons. Some women have even shared that they opened the product and experienced it unraveling prior to when they used it.

These issues could cause serious side effects and problems should the tampon become stuck inside the woman’s body. Since many different women have been negatively affected by this issue and since a recall has already been shared in relation to the affected tampons, women who have sustained injuries might have grounds to participate in a class action lawsuit investigation.

The affected tampons could also be stored in a person’s home for some time before being used. Women who think they might have this product in their house should check online to see whether or not their version is affected by the recall.

My sister is a very huge and very serious couponer so I can’t begin to say or remember just how many boxes of this brand )not to mention other brands) but I have used so many of the U brand and how many different sizes of the U brand Kotex’s. I had no ideal how large this is and how scary this is for me. I’ve used U Kotex more and more bc I very very rarely (if ever) use pads at all and bc of the price I’ve always used more and more of this brand and for so so many years (I first started using U Kotex many many years ago) especially after I left home for college bc they were just economical, fast and they were just the best for me. I just honestly felt (tampons was better for me personally)bc I have never been high on pads period. If possible you can add me to this list also…
