Night US has agreed to pay $8.16 million as part of a class action settlement to resolve claims it deceptively advertised discounts on Leesa, Bear, Helix and Brooklyn Bedding mattresses.

The Brooklyn Bedding settlement benefits consumers who, while physically in California or as residents of California, purchased one or more mattresses advertised at a discount from leesa.com between July 28, 2019, and March 11, 2024; brooklynbedding.com between Sept. 5, 2020, and March 31, 2024; helixsleep.com between Oct. 2, 2020, and March 31, 2024; or bearmattress.com between June 4, 2021, and April 1, 2024.

Night US is the parent company of several mattress brands, including Leesa, Bear, Helix and Brooklyn Bedding. According to a class action lawsuit, the company deceptively advertised discounts on its websites to make customers think they were getting a good deal.

Plaintiffs in the case say the company advertised “regular” prices that were never charged to customers. Instead, the company would charge a much lower price, making it seem like customers were getting a huge discount. Plaintiffs say the company’s practices violated California consumer protection laws.

Night US has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to pay $8.16 million to resolve these allegations.

Under the terms of the Brooklyn Bedding settlement, class members can receive a cash payment or a store credit voucher based on the number of qualifying purchases they made during the class period.

Class members who purchased one or more qualifying discounted mattresses during the class period can receive a payment of $110 per mattress. Class members who do not file a claim will receive a voucher instead of a cash payment. Vouchers will also be worth $110 per mattress.

The deadline for exclusion and objection is Aug. 26, 2026.

The final approval hearing for the Helix Mattress class action settlement is scheduled for Oct. 16, 2026.

To receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by Sept. 25, 2026.
