AT&T agreed to a $1.75 million class action settlement to resolve claims it failed to compensate employees for missed breaks.

The AT&T settlement benefits individuals employed by AT&T Mobility Services LLC, New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC, AT&T Enterprises LLC (formerly AT&T Corp), AT&T Services Inc. and/or AT&T Inc. in Washington as non-exempt employees from July 11, 2022, through May 6, 2026.

Former AT&T employees in Washington state claim the company violated state law by failing to compensate them for missed meal and rest periods. The plaintiffs in the wage lawsuit say this policy violated Washington law requiring employers to compensate employees for missed breaks.

AT&T is a telecommunications company that offers wireless services, internet and other products.

AT&T has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $1.75 million class action settlement to resolve these allegations.

Under the terms of the AT&T settlement, class members can receive a cash payment based on the number of weeks they worked during the class period.

Class members who worked a larger number of weeks will receive a larger share of the settlement fund. Exact payment amounts will vary. For tax purposes, payments will be considered 50% wages and 50% non-wage damages, penalties and interest.

The deadline for exclusion and objection is Aug. 6, 2026.

The final approval hearing for the AT&T wage lawsuit settlement is scheduled for Sept. 11, 2026.

No claim form is required to benefit from the class action settlement. Class members who do not exclude themselves will automatically receive settlement benefits. Class members can update their mailing address and payment preferences on the settlement website.
