A widow has filed an asbestos lung cancer death lawsuit against ANCO Insulations Inc., alleging that her husband died due to development of asbestos-related lung cancer.
Plaintiff Mary V. has filed the asbestos lung cancer death lawsuit on behalf of her husband, Raymond V. She filed the complaint against ANCO on Sept. 25 in St Clair County Court, located in Michigan state.
She also has filed the lawsuit against Crown Cork & Seal USA Inc., alleging negligence due to the different times that her husband was exposed to either inhaled or ingested asbestos fibers from products owned by the defendants.
The asbestos lung cancer death lawsuit maintains that Raymond had worked for the defendants between 1948 and 1985. He had become exposed to asbestos through products installed, sold, manufactured, and distributed by ANCO et al.
The asbestos lung cancer death lawsuit further maintains that Raymond became diagnosed with lung cancer in January 2016. The lung cancer diagnosis is an alleged asbestos-induced disease.
She contends that the asbestos-induced lung cancer development was wrongfully caused.
Raymond later died from his lung cancer diagnosis in February 2016. Mary, in the asbestos lung cancer death lawsuit, places the responsibility for his death on ANCO Insulations Inc., Crown Cork & Seal USA Inc. and Flowserve Corp.
Mary contends that the defendants negligently included asbestos fibers within the products. She also claims that adequate substitutes, instead of asbestos fibers, were not used where available.
She states, moreover, that the defendants failed to provide sufficient and adequate warnings and instructions for employers working with asbestos related fibers and in products that contained them.
Mary requests a trial by Jury. With this asbestos lung cancer death lawsuit, she hopes to attain compensatory and economic damages of more than $50,000.
