Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions is recalling Member’s Mark Freeze-Dried Fruit Variety Packs sold at Sam’s Club due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recall affects products distributed between July 1 and July 25 across 42 states, including Alabama, Arizona, California and New York, among others. The recall was announced on July 31, 2025, following internal testing that revealed the presence of the bacteria.

The affected products are packaged in 15-count foil pouch variety packs, with UPC 1 93968 50900 2, and have use-by dates ranging from June 24, 2027, to July 25, 2027. The lot numbers and expiration dates are printed on the bottom of the boxes.

Listeria monocytogenes can cause severe infections, particularly in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms include fever, nausea and muscle aches and in severe cases, it can lead to miscarriages in pregnant women.

“Consumers who have this product in their possession should not consume the product. They should discard it and may visit any Sam’s Club for a full refund,” the recall notice says.

Consumers urged to discard affected products

Consumers are advised to dispose of the recalled products immediately and can return them to any Sam’s Club location for a full refund, even without a receipt. The recall was prompted by routine quality checks that identified the potential contamination.

Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions is actively addressing the issue by recalling the affected products and offering refunds to consumers, according to the recall notice.

For further inquiries, consumers can contact Doehler’s customer service at (770) 387-0451, available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.

Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions says it has not received any reports of illness related to the recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

In 2024, Fresh Creative Foods recalled gyro kits sold at Sam’s Club due to cucumbers that may be contaminated with salmonella.
