Rexall Glucosamine Joint Supplement Class Action Settlement Checks Mailed

Top Class Actions viewers are starting to receive checks in the mail from a class action settlement that accused Rexall Sundown Inc. and NBTY Inc. of labeling certain joint health supplements with false claims.

According to comments and posts on the Top Class Actions Facebook page, Class Members who submitted timely and valid claims for the Rexall glucosamine class action settlement began receiving checks worth as much as $28.35 on March 24, 2017.

If you filed a claim for the Rexall settlement, keep checking your mailbox because your payout is on its way!

The class action settlement resolves allegations that Rexall and NBTY made statements about their glucosamine and chondroitin joint supplements that were false.

Class Members included all U.S. consumers who bought certain glucosamine joint supplements sold under the following brand names: CVS, Duane Reade, Equate, Kirkland, Kroger, Safeway, Target and Walgreens.

No allegations of safety issues were made by this class action settlement. And the defendants did not admit to any wrongdoing by agreeing to the settlement.

The deadline to file a claim for the Rexall joint health supplement class action settlement passed on Sept. 28, 2016.
