Old Spice deodorant, a popular men’s deodorant brand, has been linked in a number of reports with serious deodorant rash problems.

Men who use Old Spice deodorant may not expect these kinds of complications, given that Old Spice is such a popular and trusted brand.

The manufacturer of Old Spice deodorant, Procter & Gamble, is currently facing a class action lawsuit alleging that the company has sold defective Old Spice deodorant products, causing serious deodorant rashes and even chemical burns under consumers’ arms.

Old Spice Deodorant Allegations

The Old Spice deodorant class action includes at least 100 consumers who allege serious Old Spice deodorant rash complications after using one of the Old Spice deodorant products sold by Procter & Gamble.

The lead plaintiff of the class action claims that he developed a burning rash after using Old Spice deodorant only a few times.

He is not the only plaintiff with this claim; other users of Old Spice deodorant have shared similar stories on various social media platforms and websites, often including photos of their sometimes severe chemical burns.

According to the Old Spice deodorant lawsuit, “consumers were/are systematically injured, harmed, and forced to discard P&G’s products without the benefit of its full intended use and purpose.”

The lawsuit seeks over $5 million in damages for its class members.

Some consumers may not immediately connect their Old Spice deodorant rashes or chemical burns with deodorant products, given that Old Spice is such a widely used product.

An Old Spice deodorant spokesman stated that the popular company goes to “great lengths to ensure our products are safe to use. Tens of millions of men use this product with confidence and without incident.”

Though the company continues to claim that their product is both safe and effective, hundreds of Old Spice users claim that they have the deodorant rashes and chemical burns to suggest otherwise.

The Old Spice class action lawsuit includes class members who have used an Old Spice product and subsequently developed deodorant rash or chemical burn problems.
