International Delight coffee creamer recalled due to risk of illness from spoilage

Coffee creamer recall overview: 

• Who: Danone US issued a recall for more than 75,000 of its International Delight coffee creamer products. 
• Why: The recall was initiated after Danone received complaints of spoilage and illness with the use of the recalled International Delight coffee creamers. 
• Where: The recalled International Delight coffee creamers were distributed to 31 states around the United States. 

Danone US issued a recall for more than 75,000 International Delight coffee creamer products last month after receiving complaints of spoilage and illness in connection with consuming them.

The coffee creamer recall involves certain Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll International Delight coffee creamer and Hazelnut International Delight coffee creamer with “best by” dates of July 3, 2025, and July 2, 2025, respectively. 

The Food and Drug Administration designated the International Delight recall a Class II recall earlier this month, meaning consumption could cause temporary or medically reversible health issues with adverse health consequences classified as “remote.”

Recalled International Delight coffee creamer products distributed to 31 U.S. states

The recalled International Delight coffee creamers were distributed to 31 states across the United States—including Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Maine, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming, among others—in cases consisting of six 32-fluid-ounce bottles. 

Danone previously issued a recall for 1,799 cases of its Home Alone International Delight Peppermint Mocha Zero Sugar coffee creamer last year over concerns the product was mislabeled as “zero-sugar,” when it did, in fact, contain sugar. 

That recall, which has since been terminated, was also designated a Class II recall by the FDA and involved products distributed to 17 states with a “best by” date of Feb. 25, 2025.
