Evenflo recall overview:

  • Who: Evenflo Company Inc. is recalling 74,710 All4One child seats.
  • Why: The recline mechanism may shift out of position, increasing injury risk.
  • Where: The recall is effective in the United States and Canada.

Evenflo has issued a recall for more than 74,000 All4One Car Seat child seats due to a potential safety hazard. The recline mechanism in these seats may shift unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury to children and nearby passengers.

The recall, announced on Dec. 24, 2025, affects All4One Car Seat child seats manufactured between Jan. 1, 2022, and Oct. 31, 2023.

Evenflo has identified specific models affected by the recall, including the All4One DLX Latitude, DLX Reefs, Car Seat Aries and others. These models were sold in both the United States and Canada, with production dates spanning from January 2022 to June 2024.

The issue arises when the seat is in rear-facing mode where the adjustable recline mechanism may not maintain its position, failing to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213 for “Child Restraint Systems.”

While no injuries have been reported, the company advises caution, recommending that anyone sitting next to the car seat should avoid placing their hands near the recline mechanism to prevent pinched fingers.

Safety concerns prompt immediate action for Evenflo recall seat owners

Evenflo has committed to replacing the affected All4One Car Seat child seats at no cost to consumers. Notification letters are expected to be mailed starting Jan. 26, 2026.

The company has assured that the current seats remain safe for use until replacements are provided, which is expected to occur by March 4, 2026. Customers can reach out to Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921 for further assistance and information.

Evenflo states it has not received any reports of injuries related to the Evenflo recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

However, Evenflo Co. is currently facing class action allegations it failed to disclose that its Gold Revolve360 Slim and Revolve360 Slim car seats pose a heightened risk of choking hazard.
