Top Class Actions readers are reporting that they are receiving checks in the mail from a class action settlement involving allegations Drew’s LLC labeled some of its products as “all natural” even though they contained synthetic ingredients.
If you filed a claim for the Drew’s salad dressing class action settlement, keep an eye on your mailbox because you may soon receive a settlement check!
So far, we have seen comments and posts on our Facebook page that claimants are receiving $1.50, which is the payout available to consumers who submitted a claim without proof of purchase.
Under the terms of the Drew’s salad dressing settlement, Class Members with proof of purchase could claim up to 50 cents for each covered product they purchased, up to $10 per household.
Class Members of the Drew’s “all natural” salad dressing settlement include anyone who purchased any of the following 12-ounce bottles of Drew’s All Natural Salad Dressings and/or Quick Marinades for personal use between June 15, 2011 and Feb. 15, 2017:
- Chipotle Ranch
- Creamy Buttermilk Ranch

Plaintiff Gherson Tovar filed the Drew’s salad dressing class action lawsuit in June 2016, challenging the allegedly deceptive, unfair and false practices associated with the labeling of Drew’s All Natural Salad Dressings and Quick Marinades.
Tovar claims that the products are not “all natural” because they contain citric acid and/or xanthan gum, which are both synthetic ingredients. According to the Drew’s class action lawsuit, reasonable customers would not expect to find synthetic ingredients in a product that is labeled as “all natural.”
Drew’s denies the allegations but agreed to settle the all natural salad dressing class action lawsuit to avoid the burden and expense of ongoing litigation.
The deadline to file a claim for the Drew’s all natural salad dressing class action settlement passed on July 15, 2017.
The Drew’s salad dressing class action settlement received final approval on May 16, 2017.
