Roundup Weed & Grass Killer Product Label Class Action Settlement Deadline Extended!
The deadline to file a claim in the Roundup® Weed & Grass Killer label settlement has been extended through mid-February.
Consumers who purchased one of four specific Roundup products with a label including the statement “Targets an enzyme found in plants but not in people or pets” or a similar assertion are eligible to take part.
In addition to paying $39.5 million, Monsanto — the original Roundup maker — has also agreed to stop indicating on the product label that it only targets a plant enzyme.
This settlement does not resolve any claims of personal injury.
Claimants could potentially receive up to $53.15 per unit without proof of purchase. However, proof of purchase is required for those wishing to claim more than one unit per household annually within the Class Period.
The deadline to file a claim is now Feb. 16, 2021.

Walmart Must Face COVID-19 Return Policy Class Action Lawsuit
A class action lawsuit filed against Walmart over its pandemic return policy will move forward after a judge ruled store employees applied the temporary rules inconsistently.

Costco Class Action Lawsuit Alleges Dog Food Not ‘Grain Free’ As Advertised
Consumers are claiming Kirkland’s Diamond pet foods are marketed as being grain free when in fact they are not.
According to a class action lawsuit, Diamond pet foods sold under Costco’s Kirkland brand contain fillers such as wheat.
The plaintiffs claim many consumers seek out grain-free options for their pets for digestive and other reasons.

Coleman Coolers Don’t Retain Ice As Advertised, Class Action Lawsuit Says
Coleman is facing a class action lawsuit filed by a plaintiff who claims the company’s coolers are deceptively marketed as being able to retain ice for long periods, when the ice actually starts melting much sooner.
The plaintiff says false representations on the coolers affected his decision to make his purchase and pay a premium price for the Coleman cooler.
According to the class action lawsuit, YouTube reviews of Coleman’s “5-Day Ice” cooler show the ice already melting on the fourth day.
A similar class action lawsuit was recently filed against Igloo.

A man has filed a class action lawsuit after suffering injuries when a Repel citronella insect repellent candle allegedly exploded as he blew it out.
According to the complaint, the candle’s manufacturer, Spectrum Brands Inc., should have known its products were dangerous and warned consumers. The complaint points to several negative online reviews.
The plaintiff said the exploding candle shot hot wax at him, causing burns.
He is seeking an award of damages, as well as a recall of the Repel citronella candles.
