Anker says it has received two reports of minor burn injuries not requiring medical attention, and 11 reports of property damage totaling over $60,700 related to the recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power banks and contact Anker Innovations for instructions on receiving a free replacement power bank,” the recall states.
