The class action settlement benefits borrowers whose mortgages, serviced by Wells Fargo, were placed into forbearance between March 1, 2020, and Dec. 31, 2021, without adequate disclosure or explicit agreement.
Plaintiffs claim that being placed into forbearance without consent harmed their credit, delayed refinancing, or otherwise caused financial damage.

Whole Foods 365 Organic Hot Cocoa false advertising settlement
Whole Foods agreed to pay $650,000 to settle allegations that its 365 Organic Hot Cocoa products were deceptively packaged to mislead consumers about the amount of product inside.
The class action settlement benefits consumers who purchased the following products from a Whole Foods Market in California between Nov. 3, 2017, and March 13, 2025:
- 365 Organic Hot Cocoa Rich Chocolate Flavor Mix
- 365 Everyday Value Organic Hot Cocoa Rich Chocolate Flavor Mix
According to the lawsuit, the cocoa containers included excessive “non-functional empty space,” which plaintiffs argue was intended to make the packages appear fuller than they actually were.

Similasan eye drop labeling settlement
Similasan will pay $3.575 million to resolve allegations that it engaged in deceptive labeling practices for its homeopathic eye drops.
The settlement benefits consumers who purchased Similasan-branded or certain private-label homeopathic eye drops at CVS or Walgreens between Sept. 11, 2017, and Feb. 20, 2025.
According to the lawsuit, Similasan falsely labeled its eye drops as “homeopathic” and “sterile” and allegedly failed to warn consumers about the potential risks associated with silver sulfate in its products.

Cash App spam text settlement
Cash App’s parent company, Block Inc., has agreed to pay $12.5 million to resolve claims that it sent unsolicited commercial text messages in violation of Washington state law.
The settlement benefits individuals who received a Cash App “Invite Friends” referral text message while residing in Washington between Nov. 14, 2019, and Aug. 7, 2025, and who did not consent to receive such messages.
According to the lawsuit, the referral texts were sent without clear, prior consent, in violation of the Washington Consumer Electronic Mail Act and the Washington Consumer Protection Act.
Under the proposed terms, each eligible claimant who submits a valid claim is estimated to receive between $88 and $147, depending on how many valid claims are filed.

Invisalign maker and SmileDirectClub antitrust settlement
Align Technology, the maker of Invisalign, agreed to pay $31.75 million to resolve allegations that it entered into an unlawful agreement with SmileDirectClub to limit competition in the clear aligner market.
The class action settlement benefits individuals who purchased, paid for, or reimbursed the cost of SmileDirectClub aligners for personal use between Oct. 22, 2017, and Aug. 18, 2022.
According to the lawsuit, Align Technology and SmileDirectClub allegedly formed an anticompetitive agreement that suppressed rival companies in the direct-to-consumer aligner space, violating federal antitrust laws and harming consumers.

Zales text message settlement
Jewelry store Zales will pay $7.54 million to settle allegations that it sent unsolicited marketing text messages in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
The settlement benefits individuals who received more than one promotional text from Zales within a 12-month period, even though their phone numbers were listed on the National Do Not Call Registry.
According to the lawsuit, consumers say they received repeated marketing messages without giving consent, and plaintiffs argue the texts violated TCPA protections for registered numbers.
