Several major class action settlements are accepting claims this month, offering consumers opportunities to recover compensation related to false advertising, data breaches, defective products, and more. See our full list of open class action settlements to see what else you might qualify for.

Real Estate Broker Commission Settlements – Over $730 million available

Home sellers who paid broker commissions after listing properties on a multiple listing service (MLS) between Oct. 31, 2017, and July 23, 2024, may be eligible for part of a massive $730 million settlement.

The lawsuits accuse real estate brokers and agents of conspiring to keep commission fees artificially high, allegedly violating federal antitrust laws.

Claim deadline: May 9, 2025

iFit NordicTrack and ProForm touchscreen settlement

Consumers who purchased certain NordicTrack or ProForm workout machines before Jan. 23, 2023, may be eligible for benefits from a settlement resolving claims of defective touchscreen consoles.

The class action lawsuit alleges a required software update caused the touchscreens to malfunction, reducing the equipment’s value and usability. Class members can receive 20% off a 12-month subscription extension or a 20%-off coupon that can be used for up to a $600 discount, depending on their eligibility.

Claim deadline: May 6, 2025

Olaplex “Made in USA” mislabeling settlement

A settlement with Olaplex resolves allegations that the haircare company misled consumers by labeling products as “Made in the USA” even though they contained foreign-sourced ingredients.

Consumers who purchased Olaplex products marketed with “Made in USA” labels between Feb. 7, 2019, and Sept. 6, 2024, could qualify for a $5 voucher to use on Opalex’s website.

Claim deadline: May 12, 2025

Robitussin non-drowsy misrepresentation settlement – $4.5 Million

Haleon has agreed to pay $4.5 million to settle claims that its Robitussin products were falsely advertised as “non-drowsy” despite containing ingredients like dextromethorphan, which may cause drowsiness.

Consumers who bought affected Robitussin products between Feb. 16, 2016, and Jan. 21, 2025, are eligible to receive between $1.50 and $4.75 per eligible claim.

Claim deadline: May 12, 2025

Ring Protect Plan subscription disclosure settlement

Consumers who purchased select Ring products at brick-and-mortar stores in California may qualify for settlement benefits.

The class action lawsuit claims Ring failed to clearly disclose that a paid Protect Plan subscription was required to access essential features like video recording and playback.

Eligible products include: Ring Video Doorbell 2, 3, 3 Plus, Pro Wired, Elite, Floodlight Cam, and Peephole Cam. The class action settlement provides between $3 and $9 to eligible class members.

Claim deadline: May 22, 2025

Boar’s Head listeria contamination settlement – $3.1 Million

Consumers who bought certain Boar’s Head meat products between May 10, 2024, and Aug. 12, 2024, could be eligible for compensation following a listeria-related product recall.

The class action lawsuit alleges the contaminated deli meat put consumers at risk for serious illness, especially among vulnerable populations like pregnant women and seniors.

The class action settlement provides a full refund for products with proof of purchase or the average retail price for up to two recalled products without proof of purchase. 

Claim deadline: May 16, 2025

Mylan Pharmaceuticals EpiPen settlement – $73.5 Million

A $73.5 million settlement resolves allegations that Mylan Pharmaceuticals worked with Teva and Pfizer to delay cheaper EpiPen alternatives, forcing consumers to pay inflated prices.

The settlement covers entities that purchased branded or generic EpiPens directly from Mylan or Teva between March 13, 2014, and Feb. 6, 2025.

Claim deadline: May 29, 2025

loanDepot data breach settlement – $25 Million

Consumers affected by the January 2024 loanDepot data breach may qualify for benefits from a $25 million settlement.

The data breach reportedly exposed the sensitive information of 16.9 million customers, including Social Security numbers and payment data. The class action lawsuit claims loanDepot failed to implement adequate cybersecurity protections.

The class action settlement provides cash payments ranging from $5.30 to $70.01.

Claim deadline: May 27, 2025

Telescope price-fixing settlement – $32 Million

A $32 million settlement resolves claims that Synta Technology and other telescope manufacturers conspired to fix prices on popular brands like Celestron, Orion, Skywatcher, Zhumell, and Meade.

The class action settlement covers consumers who bought affected telescopes in certain states between Jan. 1, 2005, and Sept. 6, 2023. Eligible class members can receive a cash payment based on the number of telescopes they purchased.

Claim deadline: May 20, 2025

National Student Clearinghouse MOVEit data breach settlement – $9.95 Million

Individuals whose Social Security numbers were exposed during the National Student Clearinghouse MOVEit data breach between May 28 and May 31, 2023, could be eligible for part of a $9.95 million settlement.

The class action lawsuit claims the organization failed to protect consumer data from the widespread cyberattack adequately. Class members can receive up to $2,500 or more for losses related to the data breach or an estimated $100 cash payment if they did not suffer losses. 

Claim deadline: May 26, 2025

    I know of others that have been paid out for several different settlements. My husband has even gotten a couple. But then when I have tried I’ve gotten zero.
