CVS eye drops settlement – $1 million

CVS agreed to a $1 million settlement stemming from claims that certain store-brand eye drops were recalled due to unsanitary conditions at a manufacturing facility. 

If you purchased the following CVS brand eye drops between Oct. 1, 2021, and Oct. 25, 2023, you may qualify: 

  • CVS Store Brand Lubricant Eye Drops
  • Lubricant Gel Drops
  • Multi-Action Relief Drops
  • Mild Moderate Lubricating Eye Drops

Claim deadline: July 11, 2025

23andMe data breach settlement

A settlement has been reached with 23andMe following a 2023 cyberattack that exposed user data, including genetic and health information.

Individuals who received a breach notification from 23andMe about the October 2023 incident may qualify.

Despite the company’s ongoing bankruptcy, plaintiffs say 23andMe failed to implement reasonable security measures to protect highly sensitive user data.

Claim deadline: July 14, 2025

Google AdWords click fraud settlement – $100 million

Google agreed to a $100 million settlement to resolve claims that it overcharged advertisers by billing them for clicks from locations outside their target geographic areas.

The class includes individuals and businesses who used Google AdWords and paid for ad clicks between Jan. 1, 2004, and Dec. 13, 2012.

Advertisers argue that Google violated its own policies and their contracts by charging for invalid or irrelevant traffic.

Claim deadline: July 20, 2025

GM fuel pump defect settlement – $35 million

General Motors will pay $35 million to resolve allegations that certain vehicles were equipped with faulty fuel pumps that could cause engine failure.

Eligible consumers include those who purchased 2011–2016 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra diesel trucks from a GM-authorized dealer in California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania, or Texas between March 1, 2010, and Sept. 13, 2024.

The lawsuit claims the defective fuel pumps generate metal shavings, which damage the fuel system and may cause the engine to stall.

Claim deadline: July 21, 2025

Bronx Zoo ticket class action settlement – $990,000 

A $990,000 settlement has been reached with the Wildlife Conservation Society over claims that it unlawfully charged processing fees for Bronx Zoo tickets purchased online. 

If you bought electronic tickets through the Bronx Zoo website between Aug. 28, 2022, and Jan. 16, 2024, and paid a processing fee, you may be eligible for compensation.

Claim deadline: July 21, 2025.

SeaWorld annual pass auto-renewal settlement – $1.5 million

SeaWorld agreed to settle claims that it failed to adequately disclose automatic renewal terms when selling annual passes online.

This settlement applies to California residents who bought SeaWorld San Diego annual passes on or after Feb. 28, 2019, had their pass auto-renew after the first year but before Feb. 28, 2025, and were not refunded for the renewal charge.

Plaintiffs argue SeaWorld violated California’s automatic renewal law by not providing clear and conspicuous notice of the recurring billing terms.

Claim deadline: July 22, 2025

Deep River potato chips class action settlement – $4 million 

Old Lyme Gourmet has agreed to a $4 million settlement to resolve claims that it falsely marketed Deep River potato chips as containing “non-GMO ingredients,” despite the presence of GMOs. 

If you purchased Deep River chips labeled “non-GMO ingredients” between Feb. 2, 2017, and Dec. 6, 2024, you may be eligible for up to $10 or more.

Claim deadline: July 28, 2025.

​​Traeger wood pellets class action settlement – $1.5 million

Traeger has agreed to a $1.5 million settlement over claims it misled customers by advertising its wood pellets as “100% hardwood,” when they were actually a mix of hardwood and softwood. 

If you purchased Traeger wood pellets in California or Utah—either in stores or online—after Oct. 1, 2015, you may be eligible for a $3 coupon.

Claim deadline: July 30, 2025.

Raw chicken price-fixing settlement – $22.5 million

A $22.5 million settlement has been added to a broader litigation over alleged price-fixing in the chicken industry.

Consumers who bought fresh or frozen raw chicken from Tyson, Pilgrim’s Pride, George’s, Peco, Fieldale, Mar-Jac, or other producers between Jan. 1, 2009, and July 31, 2019, in select states may be eligible.

The lawsuit claims processors worked together to drive up the price of raw chicken in violation of antitrust laws.

Claim deadline: July 31, 2025

Momentum Solar robocalls settlement – $30 million

Momentum Solar will pay $30 million to resolve claims that it made telemarketing calls to non-customers without consent.

The settlement benefits individuals who received two or more unsolicited telemarketing calls from Momentum Solar within a 12-month period between March 5, 2015, and Jan. 2, 2025, and were not customers of the company.

According to the lawsuit, these calls were made using autodialers or prerecorded messages, violating the TCPA.

Claim deadline: July 31, 2025

      I received these calls and still do to this day. I am registered on the donot call list with government. Do I qualify?

    I tried to find FAQs about certain states. Like is something was CA and OR only during years and I lived there but now in WA, do I still qualify to submit? I had a “don’t qualify” letter a few months ago for something I did. It wasn’t specific about the criteria missing but I’m suspecting it was over the state issue. Maybe the forms should have a click box that we certify we lived in the state “during” the time? It’s not right those that were affected can’t submit because they moved.

    Try to read about Google and they keep putting ads up in front of it blocking it out messed up especially if that’s where we get all our information from it’s on the net
