H&M issued a recall for around 12,290 of its men’s clasp beaded bracelets over concerns they contain unsafe levels of lead.
In a recall notice published Sept. 21, the company says lead levels in the recalled men’s clasp beaded bracelets, which are made with glass and wooden beads in brown, orange and green, exceed the federal lead content ban.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled men’s clasp beaded bracelets, which H&M sold at its stores nationwide and on the company’s website for around $13 from January 2023 to July 2023.
No reports of injury in connection with H&M men’s beaded bracelets recall
H&M says it has not received any reports of injuries in connection with the recall. Consumers who own the recalled men’s clasp beaded bracelets can contact the company to return the product to get a full refund, according to the recall notice.

A state judge in Illinois in March certified a class action lawsuit against H&M that claims the company violated Illinois biometric privacy law by allegedly requiring employees to use a fingerprint scanner when clocking in and out of work.
