ForeverMen male enhancement pills recall issued due to sildenafil, tadalafil contamination

ForeverMen has issued a male enhancement pills recall because its products contain sildenafil and tadalafil, making them unapproved drugs.

All lots of the ForeverMen male enhancement pills are affected.

The recalled products come in a 10-count blister card, marketed as male sexual enhancement capsules. Analysis from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found that the capsules contained both sildenafil and tadalafil, FDA-approved drugs for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

The ForeverMen recall was issued because the safety and efficacy of the capsules has not been proven. The drugs can lower blood pressure if taken with medication for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease, which could be life threatening, according to the recall.

The company is notifying the public of the male enhancement pill recall via public announcement because it does not have the ability to identify customers who purchased the product individually.

No reports of adverse effects so far, ForeverMen recall says

FAOnline Inc. says it has not received any reports of adverse effects related to the recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

The company asks customers to stop using and immediately discard the capsules.
