Craftology has issued a recall for its 14 ounce containers of “Craftology This Is My Happy Place Pasta Salad” over concerns they may contain undeclared cashews, a tree nut allergen.
The recall was initiated by Craftology in response to a recall earlier this month by Lipari Foods Operating Company over undeclared cashews in a sunflower seed product produced by Shah Trading.
Craftology, similar to Lipari Foods, sources its sunflower seeds—including those found in the recalled pasta salad product—from Shah Trading, according to a recall posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Oct. 12.
Consumers urged to return Craftology pasta salad product for full refund
Consumers who purchased the recalled product — which was distributed to retail stores in the midwest U.S.—are being urged to return them to their original point of sale in order to receive a full refund.
The recalled Craftology pasta salad products contain a use by date of between Oct. 4 and Oct. 27 of this year, according to the pasta salad recall.
Individuals who have more questions about the pasta salad recall can contact Craftology directly by phone at 616-772-5921.
Last month, a male sexual enhancement pill caled Wonder Pill was recalled over concerns it contained undeclared tadalafil, rendering it not FDA-approved.
