Walgreens is recalling about 54,000 Winnie the Pooh rattles, after multiple reports of the lovable bear’s feet falling off, causing a choking hazard for babies.

Walgreens issued the recall July 14 through the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes end in class action lawsuits

Walgreens said the recall affected Disney Baby Winnie the Pooh Rattle Sets, of which about 54,000 were sold in the United States.

The rattle sets, made for ages three months old and above, features three rattles, one of which has Winnie the Pooh as part of the toy.

The pharmacy chain said it had received eight reports of the feet on the Winnie the Pooh rattle detaching, which can cause a choking risk. No injuries had been reported at the time of the recall going out.

“Consumers should immediately take the recalled rattle away from young children and contact Walgreens for a full refund,” the company said.

The rattles were sold at Walgreens stores nationwide from September 2019 through January 2020.

Meanwhile, Walgreens is facing several class action lawsuits over its business practices.

In a class action lawsuit filed this April, consumers allege Walgreens has been charging women almost 1.5 times more than men for the exact same hair loss treatment formula.

That comes as a Walgreens pharmacy in Miami is accused of leaving a customer who uses a wheelchair feeling excluded, humiliated, and dejected due accessibility barriers, another new lawsuit against Walgreen Co. alleges.
