Sorry, but, I have a real problem with a “class action” against the Salvation Army. When my family came to California during the Great Depression, the Salvation Army was the only charity that came to their “tent city” to provide assistance. At times of disasters, while the Red Cross asks people to pay for coffee and donuts, The Salvation Army Canteen provides it at no cost. The Salvation Army “store” is a self-standing entity from the good work the Salvation Army does year round, not only at Christmas and other holidays. Shame on those who felt a need to bring a class action against them.

Yeah I was ashamed of this place and looked at it totally different after me and my kids were homeless and on the street and I went to them for help and they simply told me sorry we don’t take kids here and push me on my way. How is that helping anyone in a time of need. And it’s hard for me to ask for help from anyone in the first place. And after this I don’t think places like this should get funding because they keep the money for themselves.
