My 2020 optima LX/FE with 74,000 is under a oil consumption test right now!! This car is not on the list! But what if Iโm the first for this model?
Is there any chance more cars might be added to this or a new lawsuit will be filed? My 2017 Hyundai Elantraโs engine just seized this weekend with only 106,000 miles. No warning signs or indicator lights came up prior to it stalling out. Dealership has failed to provide an explanation and want to charge over $10,000 to replace it.
I start having issues with my engine January 2023. I had many diagnostics done that it was cam shaft sensors. I spent thousands of dollars having the censors and timing chains and everything replaced, but the mechanic said that it was likely the whole engine needed to be replaced. Now a year later my car just completely stopped working. Same issues.
Oh and itโs a 2017 Elantra
Iโve had my car in for recalls at least four or five times and I think thereโs five maybe six on it now and these are serious recalls! The only thing my car is not doing thatโs part of the settlement is knocking it loses power right in the middle of crossing the highway itโll have power boost out of the blue I know quite a few of the recalls are for fire their computer says itโs not in limp mode but will only go 7 miles an hour up a hill I know itโs in limp mode the other people that work there that drove it said it was in limp mode Iโve almost gotten a wreck multiple times crossing the highway with my children and grandchildren. My car is part of the lawsuit I got a letter in the mail but I canโt get anybody to help me or get a hold of anybody itโs a 2012 Veloster Hyundai I think itโs ridiculous that itโs bad as the engine is that Iโve had like 12 recalls and Iโve only had it for 2 years maybe three and I donโt drive it very often. I donโt feel safe putting my grandchildren or my children in the car so I canโt even drive them anywhere because if it does catch fire then I wonโt be able to get them out of the back. Iโve had it looked at at a different dealership and whatโs causing the engines to fail is exactly what is going on with my car every symptom everything except for the knocking I have had the update and it was on time but I canโt be driving on the highway and then itโs just all the sudden slows down to almost nothing for crossing the highway with oncoming traffic and it dies right in the middle.
This is the 2nd time the engine has blown since we bought the car in July of 2023
My dad owns a 2017 Kia Sorento and takes great care of it. Oil changes on time every time, doesnโt let the gas get low and then one day out of the blue his car just stopped. Now keep in mind this was on a longer trip and he had my nephews in the car. He got it towed only to find out that his engine was completely shot. The cost of a new one $4200 without labor! My dad was retired but had to go back to work to afford the work that needed to be done on his vehicle. Where is his and everyone elseโs assistance in regards to their terrible engines??
I bought my 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited on June 12, 2021. At the time of my purchase I heard a light knocking from the engine. I asked for the dealership to look at it. They told me that itโs nothing to worry about. I wasnโt even offered the extended warranty for my car. Now 3yrs later and that knocking is a lot more noticeable.
My Kia Sorento is not included and I had it for just 5 months. Kept having to put oil in it and the engine was bad all of a sudden. This is stupid Kias are a POS
This is the 2023 KIA Sportage x-line for swallow vehicles. Itโs currently 5K miles and I bought it in October 2022. Final number 6 time engine and EGR issue provide service, second time engine off on the street and four time towed . The total period of repair at the dealership is 105 days. Itโs really terrible. My email is [email protected]. Iโm asking for your help.
It was a 2013 Hyundai veloster, with 53000 miles on it.
I argued with Hyundai for 2 years, while the car sat at their lot for 1 year. I still have case numbers. I jumped the Hyundai because of the engine situation that they did not want to fix. A recall came out in 2019. We would never notify. The engine was defective and they did no. The car was junk. I feel Iโm entitled to part of this class action lawsuit. I have all of my records necessary. My name is jason olivo My email is [email protected].
2012 Kia Sorento, system will not accept my vin. I feel the system is rigged.
From Kia I have received other letters in the mail stating: VOLUNTARY SERIVCE CAMPAIGN, for other issues. When I contact my Kia dealer and provide my vin number, I am informed my model is not included.
