Hi, I bought a 2016 Kia Optima SX turbo 2.0L with 77,000 miles on it. It was bought on March 6, 2021 from Advantage BMW. It was running fine. The car was great!. Until the engine had to be replaced. I had the engine replaced on February 9, 2022. It only had 85,406 miles on it by than, so less than 10,000 miles the engine was ruined and had to have a rebuild engine put in it. The new engine had around 40,000 miles on it. Well, in March of this year 2024 Iโm have all kinds of trouble with the engine again. I have put less than 10,000 miles on it. The next problem that this car had was all the windows regulators had to be replaced. They replaced front driver and both rear windows. That was done on September 8, 2022. I donโt know why they didnโt replace the passager side window, but they didnโt, so now on December 7, 2023 I had to take it back so they could replace the passenger side window because it started to do the same as the others windows were doing. Just 3 months after they replaced the passenger side window it is now doing the same thing again. Iโm so frustrated with this car I donโt know what to do. I have looked into the Class Action Settellment that is against Kia engine, but my car is not included in the settlement. Iโm not sure if there is anything that can be done, but Iโm to the point where Iโm just going to sell it to a salvage yard or something.
Wonโt accept my VIN
2014 Kia Soul. 1 engine failure and was replaced out of pocket, KIA would not warranty, 2nd engine resulted in a fire and complete vehicle loss. I had to involve a recovery company to help me fight my case before I got $13,000 settlement from KIA. Opticsrecovery @ gmail com helped .

I have a 2017 Kia Optima I bought in Jan of 2021 with 35K miles on it. It now has 50K miles. The transmission slips and Ive replaced the front brakes and rotors twice in less than a year and the back brakes 6 months ago.. I have a warranty until 2026and they will not honor it. I pay $476.14 a month never missed a payment $17,000 Ive paid already and still owe 13,K ! ?????HELP
I had to get a new transmission. Yes, I had to pay. I want my money. It was a bad experience. The dealership had it 3 weeks before returning my call telling me they had to order it. They said they lost the key. Someone working there stole my battery I had to buy one and the clamp that holds it down. I had to pay twice before they fixed the leak in the oil pan.๐ก The wheelwell liner came as a result to the dealerships mechanic. When I purchased it the dealership refused to detail itโฆNEVER AGAIN KIA
I have a 2023 Kia Seltos in January of 2024 my engine seized up. Iโve had 3 other Kiaโs and loved them until now. This will probably be my last kia. It has been nothing but problems.
I bought a brand new 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe on New Yearโs Eve of 2022. I came in a few days later and wrote a check and paid off the car so I didnโt have any car payments. Between then and now I have had this vehicle back at the dealership, twice being towed, for drivetrain problems. This car has 30,000 Miles Total. Additionally, this will be the second replacement of the front brakes.
I completed the a case with Hyundai regarding lemon law and their arbitrator.
You guessed it, I lost. But they did offer me a consolation prize of $600 of which I turned down.
The vehicle is currently back at the dealership being assessed and they graciously given me a 2023 Santa Fe as a loaner vehicle.
Approximately the fifth time Iโve had this vehicle back at the dealership for transmission and similar issues.
