Starbucks has agreed to pay $365,000 to resolve allegations that customers overpaid for two of its breakfast sandwiches at California store locations.
If you bought either a Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon Breakfast Sandwich or a Sausage and Cheddar Breakfast Sandwich from a Starbucks in California between April and August 2015, you could get 25¢ per sandwich from this class action settlement.
The class action lawsuit filed by plaintiff Sarah Martin in May 2015, alleged that Starbucks displayed the advertised price of the two sandwiches as lower than what the customer was actually charged.
Martin says that the Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon Breakfast Sandwich was marked as $3.45 but she was charged $3.75. The plaintiff further claimed that the Sausage and Cheddar Breakfast Sandwich was advertised as $3.25 but she paid $3.45.
Although a relatively small amount, Martin alleged that the difference in price per sandwich added up to a significant amount when multiplied by the number of sales throughout the state of California.
Under the terms of the settlement, Class Members will receive 25¢ per sandwich purchased at a company-owned Starbucks California location between April and August 2015.
Those who wish to object or exclude themselves from the Starbucks class action settlement must do so no later than Dec. 22, 2016.
Starbucks continues to deny the allegations but decided to settle the class action to avoid the expense and inconvenience of further litigation.

I have tried to get my refund as well the link is so long and it does not work. And the phone # is just a recording. This is a waste of time for .25cents
Any one have any luck trying to figure out where we look up to get this solved?? still waiting
I cannot access link for my credit. Can you you please send a link that does work
What a waste of time and energy. The long link given doesn’t work. The phone number is an outgoing message only.
coupon link doesn’t work. Tried the website – doesn’t work. The phone number listed gave options but no one to personally take the phone call and explain why the refund isn’t actually able to be accessed. This is surprisingly poor results for a class action settlement for something as big as Starbucks.
I had the same thing happen to me. Embarrassing!! Please rectify this. Thank you.
Top Class Actions is not a settlement administrator, and did not distribute the coupons. We recommend contacting the settlement administrator or class counsel with your questions. Good luck!
