- Congratulations to everyone who filed a claim and got PAID!
Ashley Furniture agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims that it advertised discounts using misleading reference pricing — tricking consumers into thinking they were getting a good deal. No proof of purchase is required for consumers to submit a claim under the class action lawsuit settlement.
The settlement benefits consumers who purchased one or more products from Ashley Furniture that were advertised at a discount from a regular or original price online between April 13, 2018, and March 31, 2022, or in-store between March 9, 2017, and March 31, 2022.
According to the class action lawsuit, Ashley Furniture advertised inaccurate sales on its website and in stores by using misleading “original prices” that did not reflect the actual value of the products. These fake discounts allegedly tricked consumers into making purchases they otherwise would not have.
Ashley Furniture is a national furniture store with physical stores and an online presence.
Ashley Furniture hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to resolve the reference pricing class action lawsuit.
Under the terms of the settlement, class members can receive one voucher that can be used at Ashley Furniture stores or online. Each voucher is worth $30 and will remain valid for 180 days. No proof of purchase is required for participation in the class action lawsuit settlement.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is Dec. 23, 2023.
The final approval hearing for the Ashley Furniture reference pricing settlement is scheduled for Jan. 19, 2024.
In order to receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by Dec. 23, 2023.

You have to file claim by clicking the blue link, they don’t add people.
Seriously???? They rip us off to begin with and then you want to compensate people with a $30 voucher to have to shop at their stores
again and possibly get ripped again?????? Terrible representation for the consumers……………………………………
I definitely don’t want money to give back to Ashley furniture. The entire process was a nightmare and paid wayyyyy more than I was supposed to. They kept changing the amounts of the money they held vs what they took out of my account. Customer service was even more of a nightmare.

I bought an electric double reclining couch. It turned out to be used!! It had no new tags and the right side of it was indented, like a very heavy person had been sitting on it for awhile. It’s worse now and also now hurts my right hip. My boyfriend at the time bought the same thing. The first one they sent was a manual one. The 2nd one they brought had no new tags and was dirty!! Another used couch!!! When I called customer service to complain they got nasty with me saying they don’t sell used furniture. I sent them pictures showing the damage, they ignored me.
I agree with Phil’s Nov 23,2023 post. And a $30 credit to Ashley Furniture is a slap in the face!!! How about some better attorneys taking on this Class Action Law Suite!!

Ashley Home Furnishings should be put out of business. This lawsuit, and the settlement attorneys who negotiated this, should be ashamed. of what they settled on. I would like to see a bank of attorneys, who have a spine, to take on Ashley, for GROSSLY OVERSTATING their furniture prices with a straight face and then pressure the customer in taking “advantage” of their no interest 5-year payoff through TD bank. A clever concept and VERY PROFITABLE …..but a $30 “credit” to crappy Ashley Furniture, you can stick it where the sun doesn’t shine! That’s really offensive and tacky.
