ParkMobile hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to the $32.8 million settlement to resolve the data breach class action lawsuit.

Under the terms of the ParkMobile settlement, class members can receive a cash payment or a credit for use in the ParkMobile app.

Cash payments will vary depending on the number of claims filed with the settlement with each claimant receiving an equal share of the $9 million cash fund. Class members can receive up to $25 from the settlement.

Class members who do not elect to receive a cash payment will receive a code via email at the end of the claims period for a $1 credit to use in the ParkMobile app. ParkMobile has offered $21 million in credits to eligible class members.

In addition to providing monetary benefits, ParkMobile agreed to make $2.5 million in business remedial measures to better protect consumer information.
