Details: The Vita Coco settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit, entitled Stacey B. Fishbein v. All Market, Inc. d/b/a Vita Coco, that alleges Vita Coco misrepresented the health benefits and nutritional content of its products. Vita Coco markets its coconut water as being “super-hydrating,” “nutrient-packed” and “mega-electrolyte.” According to the class action lawsuit, however, Vita Coco coconut water does not contain the electrolyte levels indicated on the products’ labels.
Vita Coco denies any wrongdoing, but has agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to end the litigation.
Class Members of the Vita Coco class action lawsuit settlement include all persons or entities in the U.S. who made retail purchases of Vita Coco products between August 10, 2007 and the date in which the Court finally approves the settlement. As a Class Member, you may be entitled to one of the following class action settlement benefits:
1. Cash Payment with Proof of Purchase: If you have Proof of Purchase, you may receive a check in the amount of the purchase(s) up to a maximum of $25.00 per Settlement Class Member.
2. Cash Payment Without Proof of Purchase: If you do not have Proof of Purchase, you may receive a check in the amount of $6.00 per Settlement Class Member.
3. Product Voucher With Proof of Purchase: If you have Proof of Purchase, you may receive a product voucher with a retail value in the amount of the purchase(s) up to a maximum of $36.00 per Settlement Class Member.
4. Product Voucher Without Proof of Purchase: If you do not have Proof of Purchase, you may receive a product voucher with a retail value of $8.00 per Settlement Class Member.
To receive any of these benefits from the Vita Coco class action settlement, you must submit a claim form at www.VitaCocoSettlement.com by July 23, 2012. You can also download a claim form from www.VitaCocoSettlement.com and mail it to the Settlement Administrator by the same date.

This is such BS. All natural and far healthier than all the other crap out there that purports to be healthy i.e.: vitamin water, Gatorade etc. Have you compared Vita Coco’s ingredients to all the other sports drinks out there? Americans are fat, lazy, ignorant and addicted to sugar
