Class Members in four class action lawsuits have received their settlement payouts recently. If you filed a claim in any of these settlements, check your mailbox!

Instaflex Joint Support Settlement Payout — Second Distribution!

TCA viewers have reported receiving checks for as much as $7.72 as part of the second distribution from the Instaflex joint supplement class action settlement.

A 2013 class action lawsuit had accused Direct Digital of including false and misleading claims on its Instaflex Joint Support glucosamine sulfate supplements.

Direct Digital denied the allegations but agreed to the settlement to avoid ongoing litigation.

Money from uncashed checks remained in the settlement fund, so a second distribution is being paid.

The deadline to file a claim was Sept. 5, 2017.

The Instaflex Joint Supplement Class Action Lawsuit was Mullins v. Direct Digital LLC, Case No. 1:13-cv-01829, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division.

Ginkgold Ginkgo Biloba Settlement Payout 

Checks for up to $13.04 have made their way to TCA viewers in the Ginkgold ginkgo biloba class action lawsuit.

Plaintiffs had accused Nature’s Way manufacturer Schwabe North America Inc. of misleadingly marketing its products as being able to provide benefits for memory and concentration.

The company did not admit any wrongdoing, but agreed to a $3.4 million settlement.

The deadline to file a claim form was Feb. 24, 2021.

The Ginkgold Ginkgo Biloba Class Action Lawsuit was Sonner, et al. v. Schwabe North America Inc., et al., Case No. 5:15-cv-01358, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Indiana Equifax Data Breach Checks in the Mail 

Class Members have reported receiving settlement payout checks of $79.31 in the Indiana Equifax data breach class action settlement.

The case stemmed from a data breach that occurred in May and June 2017 that allegedly affected nearly 150 million Americans.

Consumers’ Social Security numbers, birth dates, driver’s license numbers, and other sensitive information was allegedly compromised during the breach. 

In December 2018, the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform published an investigation that concluded the data breach was preventable.

The claim form deadline was Dec. 16, 2020.

The Indiana Equifax Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit was State of Indiana v. Equifax Information Services LLC, et al., Case No. 49-D01-1905-PL-018398, in the Superior Court for Marion County, Indiana.

Grove Square Coffee Settlement Payout

TCA viewers have begun receiving their payments from the Grove Square Coffee class action settlement — including one for $87.78!

A class action lawsuit had alleged Grove Square Coffee Light Roast, Grove Square Coffee Medium Roast, and Grove Square Coffee Dark Roast single-cup products are made up of more than 96 percent instant coffee.

The plaintiffs alleged the company misled consumers into believing the products contained premium ground coffee rather than mostly instant coffee, violating state consumer protection and unjust enrichment laws.

Grove Square Coffee denied all accusations of wrongdoing.

The deadline to file a claim was May 7, 2020.

The Grove Square Coffee Class Action Lawsuit was Suchanek, et al. v. Sturm Foods Inc., et al., Case No. 3:11-cv-00565, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
