Certain consumers of Guinness beer may be eligible for a payment of up to $10 without proof of purchase thanks to a class action settlement resolving claims Guinness Extra Stout is actually imported from Canada, not Ireland.

Those who make a claim without proof of purchase must submit an attestation of their purchase of Guinness Extra Stout in Massachusetts during the Class Period, and may qualify for a payment of $0.50 per six-pack (whether purchased as a six-pack or as part of a 12-pack), up to a maximum total payment of $10 per household.

Class Members who submit proof of purchase with their claim will be eligible for $0.50 per six-pack (whether purchased as a six-pack or as part of a 12-pack), up to a maximum of $20 per household.

Payments will not be sent until after the Court grants final approval to the settlement.

The deadline to opt out of or object to the settlement is Sept. 20, 2021.
