The settlement benefits individuals whose Social Security numbers were compromised in a 2022 Newcourse Communications data breach and who received a mailed data breach notification in October 2022 or consumers whose Social Security numbers were not compromised by the breach but who received a mailed data breach notification and asserted a claim for data breach damages against Newcourse and/or First United Bank due to the misuse of their information.
