Update from the President and CEO of Top Class Actions

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a very happy Easter and/or Passover! We had a great time at the Hardy home. We started out the morning with Easter baskets and SUGAR rushes. We then had an Easter egg hunt which included the upstairs, downstairs and the backyard. Both events brought back fond memories from my childhood. Waking up and digging into Easter candy with my big brother was always AWESOME! Now that I have children I’m very happy to create similar wonderful memories with them. After candy and the egg hunt my beautiful wife made us all breakfast and later we jumped into the pool for the first time this year. It was a GREAT day! I hope you enjoyed the weekend with your loved ones as well!

Top Class Actions is moving right along and we’re looking into a number of new lines of business. One of them is funding for litigants. Basically, if you have a solid case (typically drug and medical device cases,) but need cash NOW (not in a year or two when your case settles) a funding service comes along and gives you a loan based on your expected return. They charge you an interest rate on the loan, so when your settlement comes they get paid back their loan plus interest. If your case DOESN’T get settled they don’t get paid back. You pay more interest than a typical loan because of that factor. They’re betting you’ll get paid eventually but unfortunately that doesn’t always happen. As we continue investigating that line of business I’ll send out a survey to you for your opinion. My focus is on taking care of YOU and I’m not going to launch another line of business if you don’t want it. OK, on to the lawsuit updates!
