LifeMD has agreed to a class action settlement to resolve claims that it shared private health information with third parties without consent.
The LifeMD settlement benefits individuals who are or were members of LifeMD or RexMD or who ordered or purchased products from LifeMD or RexMD and whose private information was allegedly disclosed to a third party through the use of tracking tools on the company’s websites.
LifeMD is a telehealth company that provides a range of services, including primary care, weight loss, smoking cessation, sexual health and more. RexMD is a similar telehealth company that specializes in men’s health.
According to a class action lawsuit against LifeMD, the company shared private health information with third parties such as Google, TikTok and Facebook, through tracking technologies on its website.
LifeMD has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to resolve these allegations.
Under the terms of the LifeMD settlement, class members can receive either a $10 cash payment or a $25 voucher for LifeMD or RexMD services. The settlement website does not clarify whether these payments will be sent as checks or electronic payments.
The company also agreed to implement a third-party consent service to enhance consent management on its website for at least two years.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is Sept. 22, 2025.
The final approval hearing for the LifeMD class action lawsuit settlement is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2025.
To receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by Sept. 22, 2025.
