TriZetto class action lawsuits overview:

Two new class action lawsuits allege healthcare technology company TriZetto failed to adequately protect the highly sensitive data of patients during a recent data breach.
The class action lawsuits each claim TriZetto had a duty and an obligation to protect the private information that patients entrusted the company with, yet failed to do so.
“Plaintiffs and Class members provided their Private Information to Defendants with the reasonable expectation and mutual understanding that Defendants would comply with their obligations to keep such Private Information confidential,” one TriZetto class action lawsuit says.
Plaintiff Elizabeth Noble wants to represent a nationwide class of anyone whose personally identifiable information (PII) or personal health information was compromised in the December 2025 TriZetto data breach, including anyone who received notice of the breach.
Meanwhile, plaintiffs Liam Lytle, Maricruz Jimenez and Carson Noel want to represent additional state subclasses of anyone whose private information was compromised and who received notice of the breach.
TriZetto failed to disclose that private information was not secure, class action says
Noble alleges information stolen in the TriZetto data breach has either already been published or “will be published imminently” by cybercriminals on the dark web and that she has seen a spike in spam and scam text messages and phone calls in the aftermath of the incident.
“Plaintiff has spent—and will continue to spend—significant time and effort monitoring her accounts to protect herself from identity theft,” the TriZetto class action says.
Lytle, Jimenez and Noel, meanwhile, claim TriZetto failed to disclose to them that their private information was not secure, despite them assuming and being “entitled to assume” that TriZetto had secured it.
“At no time were Plaintiffs or the Subclass on notice that their Private Information was not secure,” the TriZetto class action lawsuit says.
Noble, who also names Genesis Healthcare as a defendant, demands a jury trial and requests declaratory and injunctive relief and an award of applicable compensatory, exemplary, punitive and statutory damages for herself and all class members.
Lytle, Jimenez and Noel, who also name Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation as a defendant, demand a jury trial and request declaratory and injunctive relief and an award of actual, statutory and nominal damages for themselves and all class members.
Last month, The Cigna Group Inc. faced a lawsuit claiming the global health insurer failed to protect patient data in a cyberattack that occurred between October 2024 and January 2025.

I too just received a letter from “Trizetto Provider Solutions” today regarding the Kroll data breach (at least that’s what I think happened?) and wouldn’t mind seeking representation as well. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

I received a letter today. I don’t know who this company is, or what provider used them. I didn’t receive any notice from the rendering provider that my PHI was breached through one of their vendors.
