Dickโs, according to the Bleeping Computer source, has also shut down its email systems in the wake of the data breach and locked employees out of their accounts.ย
The source reportedly added Dickโs IT staff has been manually validating employeesโ identities via camera, in order for them to be able to regain access to its internal systems.ย

The data breach is the latest to affect a major company. Toyota also confirmed a data breach in August that the automaker said exposed the data of customers and employees.ย

Oh wtf! SO tired of this. Ye ANOTHER data breach Iโm affected by. WHAT is going on? Literally these past 3 years itโs been nearly CONSTANT. Iโm constantly getting contacted by companies stating that my information is apart of a data breach. There is NOTHING that is safe now. Iโm not even sure why companies even say that your information is safe anymore knowing darn well thatโs not the case. We all know things could have been hacked but there is a huge difference over the last three to four years. Something has had to have happened with our systems in the United States for there to be such a change
