Young Women & Yaz Blood Clot Side Effects

By John Curran

birth control blood clot injuriesWomen who are looking for contraceptive options often start their search before the age 18. Unfortunately, when it comes to Yaz, Yasmin, Beyaz and Ocella blood clot side effects, patients of this age may not have realized the importance of checking the warning label. For many, it was the first long-term medication they would use.

Unfortunately, the prospect of Yaz blood clot side effects is not markedly less just because someone is young. While it gets worse for older women and those who smoke, Bayer Pharmaceutical had to update the birth control pills’ warning their websites and patient information packets. There have been stories indicating that even women who can’t drink in the United States have dealt with Yasmin/Yaz pulmonary embolism side effects.

The danger is that many of these women are otherwise very healthy, even compared to their peers. For example, a woman who expected to compete in the Winter Olympics in Sochi next year will be on blood thinners for six months as a result of Yasmin blood clots. Drugs that caused problems like Ocella pulmonary embolism side effects may have put her Olympic dreams completely out of reach. Perhaps more importantly, the need for women who have dealt with clotting to go on blood thinners means subjecting them to a whole host of other side effects.

All patients need to be aware of the risks of any medications they may be taking or about to use. However, Bayer Pharmaceutical is facing thousands of claims from Yaz lawsuit attorneys specifically because the oral contraceptives did not mention that the risk for Yasmin blood clots is higher than the risk women face from older birth control pill options. The good news is that Yasmin lawsuit settlements have been coming for months from Bayer, with the average payout totaling over $200,000.

The bad news for some is that the drug maker continues to ignore claims of gallbladder side effects. It may be that the company is waiting for Yaz blood clot lawsuits to be settled. In either case, women of all ages who have had problems while using Yaz, Yasmin, Ocella or Beyaz should consider their legal options. A free consultation is available when one visits the Yaz/Yasmin, Beyaz & Ocella Birth Control Pill Class Action Lawsuit Settlement & Investigation. An experienced Yaz lawsuit attorney will help any woman establish the eligibility of her potential claim. Since Bayer is already settling with thousands of women, the possibility of a quick legal remedy is very good.
