Yasmin Victim Details Grueling 5 Years of Side Effect Recovery

The woman, known only as “Leni,” began taking Yasmin in 2005 and quit taking it in March 2007. Although she only took the birth control pill for 2 years it had a devastating effect on her and ended up taking her 5 years to recover.

In her account of events, this woman says she noticed adverse side effects of Yasmin within the first year. However, she didn’t link these issues to her birth control pill right away. She was the mom of 2 children under the age of 5 and also worked full time, so she contributed the problems she was experiencing to stress. These side effects included the following:

She now regrets taking the synthetic hormones that Yasmin contained and after her extensive research she believes Yasmin caused her to develop adrenal fatigue. In response to what she has gone through she said, “Yasmin had ruined and robbed me of my life, even as I recovered physically I still couldn’t get back my confidence completely.”
