Nelson’s Orignal Bach Flower Remedy Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

By Andrea Gressman

Bach Flower RemediesAs homeopathic products continue to rise in popularity so do the homeopathic scam lawsuits. These homeopathy fraud lawsuits claim that homeopathic remedies are nothing more than a modern day scam looking to take consumers’ money for diluted products equivalent of nothing more than a placebo. Some big names have hit the scene when it comes to homeopathic scam class action lawsuits, including one that was filed early last year over Original Bach Flower Remedies made by Nelson’s Homeopathic. Now a new class action lawsuit investigation has been launched into consumer claims that Original Bach Flower Remedies don’t work as advertised.

Despite Nelson’s claims that they are one of the largest homeopathic manufacturers in the United Kingdom, it was actually an American that filed the Original Bach Flower Remedies class action lawsuit against the company. The plaintiff alleged in the homeopathic lawsuit that the advertising claims made by Nelson’s were completely bogus.

It is claimed by the homeopathic product manufacturer that Bach Flower Remedies were developed in the early part of the 20th century by Dr. Edward Bach. The following claim is made by the homeopathic company regarding the founder of its products saying Mr. Bach “…discovered a system of flower remedies that can help us rediscover the positive side of ourselves. He believed, as many doctors do today, that attitude of mind plays a vital role in maintaining health and recovering from illness. When he died in 1936, he had developed a complete system of 38 flower remedies, each prepared from the flowers of wild plants, trees and bushes. The remedies work by treating the individual rather than the disease or its symptoms. Still made in the U.K. at Mount Vernon, the home of Dr. Bach, Bach® Original Flower Remedies are the only flower remedies bearing Edward Bach’s signature on each bottle.  Today, these gentle remedies are used world-wide and are sold in over 66 countries.”

The homeopathic scam lawsuit charges the defendants with false advertising as well as deceptive labeling. The homeopathic fraud lawsuit goes on to claim that there were in fact no scientific studies to back up any of the defendant’s claims. The plaintiff alleges Bach Flower Remedies are nothing more than a placebo.
