CharcoCaps Homeopathic Anti-Gas: Real Relief or Scam?
By Matt O’Donnell
Many consumers turn to all-natural, alternative treatments for a variety of ailments, including the uncomfortable – and embarrassing – condition of intestinal gas. One of the most popular anti-gas medicines on the market is CharcoCaps Homeopathic Anti-Gas Formula, which is the focus of a recent class action lawsuit settlement investigation.
CharcoCaps are sold at a variety of drug and grocery stores across America, including Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Drug Mart, Kinney Drugs, Kmart and Albertsons. They’re advertised as an “Age-Old Remedy” for gas that work by utilizing activated charcoal to help reduce intestinal gas by attracting and condensing gas molecules into thousands of tiny pores on its surface. These gases are then carried out of the body with the charcoal, according to the makers of CharcoCaps.
CharcoCaps Homeopathic Anti-Gas Formula supposedly provides “fast, natural relief of gas discomfort, pressure and bloating” and stimulates the body’s own defenses against intestinal gas. These claims are being investigated by Homeopathic Consumer Advocates, which are helping consumers fight back against homeopathy fraud.
Homeopathy, or homeopathic medicine, is based on the idea that individuals can treat a symptom by using highly diluted substances of an active ingredient to trigger the body’s natural system of healing.
The problem, according to homeopathy fraud class action lawsuits, is that oftentimes the active ingredient is so diluted that little to no molecules of the original substance remain. This has resulted in consumers spending millions of dollars on homeopathic medicines that are nothing more than expensive placebos.
If you purchased CharcoCaps Homeopathic Anti-Gas Formula and didn’t get the relief promised, you may have been a victim of a homeopathy scam. Homeopathic Consumer Advocates want to hear from you and help you get a refund through a CharcoCaps class action lawsuit settlement.
