Victims of a semi truck accident say that the driver of a Lally Transportation truck is at fault, and claim that the company should be held liable for the injury they claim they suffered in the accident.

Plaintiffs Ira B. and Wydite B. claim that they and their child, R.R.B. were driving in Pennsylvania on Sept. 23, 2017, when they were struck by a Lally Transportation truck driven by Karamjit S.

Allegedly, the accident was caused by negligence on the part of Karamajit, and all three passengers in the other vehicle were injured.

Ira and Wydite claim that the accident took place on Sept. 23, 2017, at around 8:12 a.m. Allegedly, Ira was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado towing a trailer which hauled a 1968 SS Chevrolet Chevelle traveling south on SR 15 in Pennsylvaniaโ€™s Union County. Allegedly, Wydite and R.R.B. were passengers at the time, Wydite being the front passenger seat and R.R.B. sitting in the back.

The Lally semi truck accident lawsuit says that Ira was stopped at a red light at an intersection, in the right-hand lane.

Allegedly, Karamjit was driving a 2011 Freightliner Casca tractor towing a freightliner semi-trailer. Ira and Wydite say that the vehicles were owned by Lally Transportation, and while he was driving, Karamjit was under the employment of Lally Transportation.

Ira and Wydite state that the semi-truck was traveling in the right-hand lane of the road, behind Iraโ€™s vehicle, and did not stop. Allegedly, this resulted in the Lally truck โ€œstriking [Ira and Wyditeโ€™s] vehicle in the rear forcing it into the vehicle in front of it,โ€ causing that vehicle to move several feet from the point at which it was stopped.

The couple claim that as a result of the crash, they and R.R.B. suffered a range of injuries, including, back injury, neck injury, headaches, possible T11 fracture, thoracic and low back pain, pain and numbness in arms, head injuries, and multi-disc protrusions and herniations at T11 โ€“ T12.

The couple claims that these injuries necessitated โ€œmedical treatment including emergency room visitation, diagnostic tests, physical therapy, physical examination, chiropractic treatment and taking prescriptions.โ€ Allegedly, the family will require medical care in the future to handle their injuries.

Additionally, the semi truck accident lawsuit says that the family suffered emotional pain and suffering, as well as financial injury due to lost wages, medical costs, and the damage done to their vehicles.

They claim that Karamjit failed to maintain an appropriate speed while driving, failed to stop in time, and failed to exercise appropriate care and caution while driving.

People like Ira and Wydite who were involved in a truck accident possibly caused by the opposing driver may be able to seek compensation for their injury by filing semi truck accident lawsuits.
