A class action settlement resolves allegations related to a dp Brokerage cybersecurity incident.
The settlement class includes all individuals who reside in the United States and whose personal information was impacted by the security incident.
The class action lawsuit involves a cybersecurity incident that impacted dp Brokerage in or around December 2022. The lawsuit alleges the company failed to protect the personal information of impacted class members.
Dp Brokerage Inc. is an insurance agency and brokerage firm. The company denies the allegations and any liability or wrongdoing but agreed to an undisclosed settlement amount.
Class members can receive various benefits under the terms of the dp Brokerage settlement, including, up to $2,000 for unreimbursed ordinary losses, up to $5,000 for extraordinary losses, and the option to claim up to four hours of lost time at $20 per hour up to $80 and subject to the $2,000 cap. They can also receive credit monitoring services for two years.
As an alternative to the above benefits, class members can claim a $50 payment.
The exclusion and objection deadline for the dp Brokerage settlement was Oct. 31, 2024.
The final approval hearing is scheduled to take place on Feb. 18, 2025.
The deadline to submit a claim form is Nov. 30, 2024.

I would like to file class action law suit against Boston Market for continuing to allow Walmart, Albertsons and other grocery stores to sell the Chicken Fettuccine frozen dinners after they were aware of a recall/problem with them.
