Stoneledge Furniture agreed to a $750,000 class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims it advertised inflated “original prices” for products in its California stores. Stoneledge stores in California operate under the Ashley HomeStore name.
The Ashley HomeStore settlement benefits consumers who purchased products from a Stoneledge store in California between March 9, 2017, and March 27, 2022, where the “original price” or “regular price” was at least 10% greater than the “invoice price.”
Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit accused Stoneledge Furniture of advertising inflated “original prices” or “regular prices” in its California stores. According to the class action lawsuit, these inflated prices violated California’s Unfair Competition Law and Consumers Legal Remedies Act.
