If you received a faxed advertisement from auto dealer supply company Dodson Company LLC between 2008 and 2010, you may be eligible to claim up to $500 from a class action settlement over claims the faxes violated state and federal laws.
The settlement resolves a 2009 class action lawsuit, entitled G.M. Sign Inc. v. Dodson Company LLC, et al., that accuses the defendants of violating various state laws and the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
The TCPA prohibits so-called “junk faxes,” which are unsolicited advertisements sent to any fax machine — both businesses and residences — without the recipient’s prior express consent.
Dodson denies any wrongdoing but agreed to pay up to $2.55 million into a class action settlement fund to resolve the litigation. Each Class Member who submits an approved claim will be mailed a check for their pro rata share of the Settlement Fund, up to $500.
Who’s Eligible
Class Members of the Dodson Company TCPA settlement include anyone who received a faxed advertisement from the defendants between April 21, 2008 and April 21, 2010.
Potential Award
Up to $500. This amount may be reduced pro rata depending on the number of valid claims filed. The more valid claims are filed, the less your potential award will be.
Proof of Purchase
You must provide the fax number to which you received the Dodson fax advertisement(s), and verify ownership of the number.

TCA, is there any update on this case? I did not receive payment yet and I doubt anyone else has.
The settlement website is no longer active. You can try contacting class counsel. Counsel is listed in this article and can be Googled for contact information.

It looks like you have several claims you are questioning the status on. The best thing to do is to contact the settlement administrator, class counsel, and/or the judge on the case with your concerns.
