Details: The Sur La Table settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit, titled Amanda Georgino v. Sur La Table Inc. and Consolidated Cases, that alleges the retailer violated California law by requesting and recording personal identification information during credit card transactions. This information includes addresses, ZIP codes and/or phone numbers.
Sur La Table denies it did anything wrong, but has agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to resolve the litigation.
Class Members of the Sur La Table class action settlement include any one who used a credit card to purchase goods from a California Sur La Table store between the dates of February 16, 2010 and February 11, 2011.
Class Members can claim a $13 Sur La Table merchandise from the class action settlement if they submit a Claim Form by March 11, 2013.
