Fisher-Price agreed to a $19 million Rock N’ Play settlement to resolve claims that the sleeper products were not safe for sleeping infants.

The Fisher-Price settlement benefits consumers who purchased, were gifted or possess a Fisher-Price Rock N’ Play Sleeper.

According to the class action lawsuit, Fisher-Price’s Rock N’ Play Sleepers are unsafe for children and could lead to injuries or death. The company allegedly recalled 4.7 million of these sleeper products in 2019 after they were linked to infant deaths.

Mattel owns Fisher-Price, a toy and baby gear brand.

Fisher-Price hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to the $19 million Rock N’ Play settlement.

Under the terms of the Fisher-Price settlement, class members can receive payments of up to $60 depending on whether they received a voucher or a Fisher-Price toy, still own the sleeper products and can provide proof of purchase.

The deadline for exclusion and objection is Dec. 30, 2024.

The final approval hearing for the Rock N’ Play settlement is scheduled for Jan. 28, 2025.

To receive Fisher-Price settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by April 29, 2025.
