The Infosys McCamish Systems settlement benefits individuals whose personal information was compromised in the 2023 Infosys data breach, including the 3.7 million individuals who received a mailed data breach notice.
The Infosys McCamish Systems data breach occurred between Oct. 29 and Nov. 2, 2023, and compromised sensitive information of millions of insured consumers, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical information and more. Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claim that Infosys failed to prevent the breach through reasonable cybersecurity measures.

Infosys has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $17.5 million settlement to resolve the class action lawsuit.
Under the terms of the Infosys McCamish Systems settlement, class members can receive up to $6,000 for documented monetary losses related to the data breach. This includes unreimbursed fraud or identity theft losses, professional fees, credit costs and other expenses. Class members must provide documentation to claim these losses.
