UFC agreed to pay $1.2 million to resolve claims it violated federal law with the automatic renewal of UFC Fight Pass subscriptions.
The UFC Fight Pass settlement benefits consumers who enrolled in an automatically renewing UFC Fight Pass subscription between Oct. 11, 2018, and Jan. 21, 2025, using a billing address in California, Washington, D.C., Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia or Vermont.
Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claim UFC Fight Pass subscriptions were automatically charged and renewed without the required disclosures and consent.
UFC Fight Pass is a subscription service that allows users to watch live events, fight replays, original programming and more.
UFC hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $1.2 million settlement to resolve the UFC Fight Pass auto renewal class action lawsuit.
Under the terms of the UFC Fight Pass settlement, class members can receive either a cash payment or a voucher for two months of free UFC Fight Pass service.
Subscribers can choose to receive a cash payment of up to $9.99 or a voucher for two months of free service, valued at $19.98.
In addition to providing payments and vouchers, UFC agreed to comply with auto renewal laws when selling, renewing and cancelling UFC Fight Pass subscriptions.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is May 6, 2025.
The final approval hearing for the UFC Fight Pass auto renewal settlement is scheduled for June 10, 2025.
In order to receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by June 5, 2025.
Who’s Eligible
Consumers who, from Oct. 11, 2018, through Jan. 21, 2025, enrolled in an automatically renewing Fight Pass subscription using a California, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia or Vermont billing address and paid fees in connection with the subscription.
Potential Award
A $9.99 rebate or a $19.98 voucher for two months of service.
