Associated Bank announced a multiyear renewal and expansion of a partnership with the Green Bay Packers.

The extension between Associated Bank and the Green Bay Packers extends a partnership that is more than a century old, going all the way back to when the NFL team was founded in 1919, according to the Packers

“We’ve appreciated their support of the Packers for more than a century, fostering their deep roots in our community and providing consistently excellent service,” Mark Murphy, Green Bay Packers president and CEO, says in a statement.

The partnership is highlighted by Associated Bank’s sponsorship of the Associated Bank Gate on the west side of Lambeau Field, where the Packers play, in addition to the Associated Bank Club Level, which offers gathering spaces on the Lambeau Field Atrium club level.

Associated Bank NSF fees investigation examines improper charges

The partnership comes as Associated Bank is involved in a Top Class Actions’ class action lawsuit investigation involving improper non-sufficient fund fees, although there is no evidence the financial institution has done anything wrong.

The Associated Bank NSF fees class action lawsuit investigation looks into NSF fees and whether Associated Bank and a number of others improperly charged them. Many consumers are unaware it is unlawful for a bank to charge more than one NSF fee for a single failed transaction.

A financial institution may charge an NSF fee when a customer initiates a transaction larger than the amount of money they have in their account, according to the Associated Bank NSF fees investigation.

Associated Bank announced in April 2022 that it would eliminate NSF fees for returned checks or debits; however, the bank charges overdraft fees of $32 per item for personal or business checking accounts with a maximum of two per day
