Xarelto Bleeding Death Lawsuit Filed by Plaintiffs, Alleging Serious InjuriesA new Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit has been filed on behalf of a deceased woman who the family members claim was critically injured while taking this popular medication. This is not the first time that a Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit has been filed against manufacturers, Janssen Research and Development and Johnson & Johnson.

Many plaintiffs have come forward to file a Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit, alleging that themselves and their family members were subjected to critical and dangerous side effects while taking the drug. They say that the medication’s labels and included materials do not fully explain the risk of Xarelto bleeding death.

Xarelto is often prescribed to reduce the risk of systemic embolism and stroke for prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis and to treat pulmonary embolism or deep vein thrombosis. However, as alleged in the Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit, patients may be exposed to serious internal bleeding risks.

The Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit argues that the defendants concealed their knowledge of the defects associated with Xarelto from the medical community, the public at large, and the FDA.

The plaintiff goes on to argue that the defendants improperly and negligently failed to perform appropriate tests that would have revealed the devastating side effects that could cause life threatening complications. The decedent in the Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit allegedly suffered dangerous and serious side effects, including fatal bleeding.

The Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit is seeking compensatory damages associated with the premature death of the woman taking the medication.

According to the plaintiff, the deceased woman began taking the medication in June 2012 and took it through April 2015. A life-threatening bleeding event allegedly occurred on April 23, 2015, ultimately causing suffering, pain, permanent personal injuries and emotional distress, the complaint says.

The Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit argues that the woman  ultimately suffered a sudden Xarelto bleeding death on Jan. 28, 2016. The plaintiff says that this was primarily caused by her taking Xarelto over a long period of time.

Far too many families have had to deal with the devastating impact of a family member’s sudden internal bleeding. When those families ultimately suffer the loss of their loved one, filing a wrongful death lawsuit may be the only option to recover compensation associated with the loss.

Unexplained internal bleeding may be difficult for patients to identify if they were never told about the risks of this side effect. Many patients might not even realize what has happened until they go to the hospital and get seen by a doctor.

If internal bleeding is left too long, the patient could suffer life-threatening side effects. Patients who have filed a Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit argue that the manufacturer’s lack of warning may have led to irreparable harm for them.

Many patients have accused the manufacturers of failing to let people know about the dangerous internal bleeding risks associated with the medication. Many of these patients have come forward to file a Xarelto bleeding death lawsuit.

The Xarelto Bleeding Death Lawsuit is Case No. 2:18-CV-03702-EEF-MBN, in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana.
