FSIS says no confirmed reports of adverse health reactions in connection with halal chicken recall
The potential listeria contamination was discovered by the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) following routine product testing, according to the recall.
The FSIS said there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions in connection with consuming the recalled halal chicken products.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled halal chicken products are urged by the FSIS not to eat them and to either throw them away or return them to their place of purchase.
