Plantronics Bluetooth Headset Review Comments Complain of Early FailureMore and more disappointed consumers are sending complaints via online Plantronics Bluetooth headset review comments.

Consumers claim that their Plantronics Bluetooth headsets suffered from early device failure because of a battery charging issue, which eventually leads to the battery simply not turning on—in many cases, just shortly after the warranty period expires. However, these headphones are marketed as being durable and having a long battery life.

If you or a family member own a set of Plantronics Bluetooth headphones and they’ve failed prematurely, you may be able to join a class action lawsuit investigation.

The Plantronics Bluetooth Headset

The Plantronics Bluetooth headset is used for a number of purposes: to listen to content from audiobooks to music, and while doing activities from working out to commuting to the office. Because of the varied uses of these devices, Plantronics’ products are marketed as being durable and reliable.

However, some purchasers report that many of the Plantronics Bluetooth headset devices allegedly have a battery defect, which causes the battery life to quickly fade. In many cases, the battery may have a low battery life or even stop working after just minimal usage.

Customers have taken to online forums to post their Plantronics Bluetooth headset review comments over these defects.

Plantronics Bluetooth Headset Review Comments

One consumer who wrote a negative Plantronics Bluetooth headset review said that, in a year and a half since purchase—and using the products only a couple of dozen times in that time period—the headset stopped charging at all, and will no longer turn on. “I believe this product is only meant to last up to 2 years MAX,” the consumer says. “If you use them more than I did, I would cut that time in half. Do yourself a favor and do not buy these.”

Another customer’s Plantronics Bluetooth headset review noted that they had purchased three sets total, and all three stopped taking a charge shortly after purchase. “They worked great when they actually worked, but they are definitely not worth the money,” the review says.

Yet another Plantronics Bluetooth headset review reads: “Twice now these headsets [have] died on me just before the 12[-month] warranty period or shortly after the warranty. The sad part about all this is, I actually like these products but the quality is definitely not there. There are Walmart wired headsets lasting wayyyy longer than this.”

Other customers note that their Plantronics Bluetooth headsets didn’t make it even close to the warranty period, some failing as early as just three uses in before it would no longer charge or turn on. Several customers noted that their headsets never worked—that after taking purchasing them and taking them home, the headsets simply never turned on in the first place.
