JPMorgan Chase class action lawsuit overview:

  • Who: Plaintiff John Sacchi filed a class action lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
  • Why: Sacchi claims JPMorgan Chase fraudulently induced consumers to purchase credit card memberships and charge specified purchases on the company-issued credit card.
  • Where: The JPMorgan Chase class action lawsuit was filed in New York federal court.

A new class action lawsuit claims JPMorgan Chase fraudulently induced consumers to purchase credit card memberships and charge specified purchases on the company-issued credit card.

Plaintiff John Sacchi filed the class action complaint against JPMorgan Chase Bank and JPMorgan Chase & Co. on Sept. 12 in New York federal court, alleging violations of state and federal consumer laws.

According to the lawsuit, JPMorgan Chase fraudulently solicited consumers to purchase credit card memberships by promising automatic credits for certain purchases but then failed to provide those credits.

The plaintiff alleges that this practice is part of a systematic plan by the company to induce consumers to pay for Chase credit card memberships and make specific purchases, only to deny them the promised credits.

JPMorgan Chase allegedly failed to provide promised credits

Sacchi claims he was solicited by JPMorgan Chase in the summer of 2025 to purchase a one-year credit card membership for $750.

The company allegedly promised automatic credits for purchases at specified restaurants and for online music services, which Sacchi relied upon when he applied for the card and made qualifying purchases.

However, Sacchi alleges that JPMorgan Chase failed to reimburse the specified charges, forcing him to pay them as part of his credit card monthly statement to avoid interest, late fees and penalties.

The lawsuit claims that JPMorgan Chase has a history of similar fraudulent practices, as evidenced by complaints from other consumers and previous lawsuits.

Sacchi is looking to represent anyone who made one or more charges on a JPMorgan Chase-issued credit card in the United States for products and/or services, which charge(s) was/were required to be automatically credited pursuant to the company’s promises but was/were not.

The plaintiff is seeking certification of the class action, damages, fees, costs and a jury trial.

In 2024, a JPMorgan Chase employee sued the company, alleging labor law violations, including failure to provide meal and rest breaks.

Please know that if the attorney pulls security footage from bank they will also find that the bank also removed $5000 in social security benefits from my bank account after I deposited it a month prior which included a social security check for $1,675. I was told the check was old so they sent it back. I inquired with social security office they have no record of check being sent back. I was never re-issued the check, bank never replaced the $5000 and none of the money was returned. I know that I should leave the bank but I can’t leave without issues being resolved & money replaced. I leave bank & lose everything without resolution. I have just started just going in person to withdraw all my money from the account. I was told today a long laundry list of transactions declined made from a bank card that I do not even own – they couldn’t go through because I remove all of my money from bank as soon as my social security disability benefits are deposited. The bank refuses to give me a copy of the transaction history or even the number of the additional card that was fraudulently issued on my account. I am told that I need a court order & it is done this way for my own protection. I say the bank is creating fraud & protecting the person who is fraudulently using my account.

Chase has: 1. Created an additional fraudulent bank account in my name.
    2. Keeps sending my bank statements & replacement credit cards to a P.O. Box that I don’t own. 3. They have long list of fraudulent bank charges that I did not make, refused to give me a copy of the bank statement- stating that I would need a court order from a lawyer in order to get it. 3. I have identity theft & there is a person who filed taxes in my name received a check/earned income for $178,000 & another one for $125,000. My big question is I am disabled & on social security which is a fixed income. How am I allegedly working or gaining this type of income. Big question what bank are the income checks written from, cashed as & who is cashing them it is not me. Chase Bank keeps putting the P.O. Box as my address and sending all the bank statements there. I don’t even receive my statements in the mail. I have to go in person to request it. I am told copy of my bank statement can not be issued to me on Chase Bank letter head. I have repeatedly tried to have the address corrected on the account for over a year & they say we corrected it and later nothing has changed. I can’t make on online purchases because someone has changed my address & telephone number on my account which makes me unable to verify the account. Finally issue is anytime I make a purchase I am told money which is already cleared is pending. I was told there is a new law that bank will no longer cash Social Security checks it has to sit in the bank a couple of days in ordervto clear and I know it is a lie because Social Security checks are written & backed/secured by the United States Treasury there is nothing to clear – that is cash on the barrel. I need to be added to the Chase Bank Fraud Classaction Lawsuit ASAP. Please know there are more issues but I believe they need to be discussed with an attorney.

Chase has falsely charged me overdraft fees and wrongly closed my account to get away with not getting caught 2024 I believe that they were being autidded. They have had to pay me back for the same in the past and I believe that this time they owed me much more so they closed my account and said I was overdrawn 60 days but I had direct deposit every month on the 3rd
